Pre event notes:
Open Data Standards Day provides a space for groups that are developing and implementing technical standards for open data to work on specific standards, join the dots between different efforts, and reflect on shared challenges and opportunities.

Objectives:

– Giving space to open standards, with facilitated opportunities during the day for groups to check-in and share what they are working on – finding the connections.
– End the day with an announceable new agreement and process for dealing with organizational identifiers.
– Strengthen the Joined Up Data Alliance as a convening mechanism for those working on open standards.
